Porsche 996 GT2 MK1 RHD 2003.
Launched for 2001 model year, the 996 GT2 arrived with a twin turbocharged GT3 specification engine producing 462BHP through a stiffened rear wheel drive chassis.
With 0-60 MPH in 3.7 seconds, 0-125mph in 11.6 seconds and a top speed just shy of 200mph and with no driver aids, the GT2 makes for a formidable and focussed driving experience that punishes inexperienced drivers who over step the mark hence acquiring the nickname `the widow maker`.
A car we have owned before, this example is finished in Lapis Blue pearl and is in excellent condition throughout, no accident damage and just 46,000 miles from new with supporting service history, the car has also been fitted with a stainless-steel exhaust system by Milltek, the original exhaust system is supplied with the car.
Rare, low number 911s are still hot property, and with only 113 mk1s registered in the UK, this car certainly falls into that category.
A great drive but also a shrewd investment too.
